Messy Church is an international way of church for families of all ages involving fun, creativity, celebration and hospitality. Our Messy Church is held on the 4th Sunday of the month from 4pm—6pm and finishes with a light supper.

We at St John’s have a commitment to the nurturing and support of families. With this in mind, we offer a weekly playgroup program for toddlers and their parents/grandparents/carers called “MAINLY MUSIC”. This is a program of Christian based music and actions for parents interacting with their small children from babies up to about 3 and a half. It involves a 30 minute mixture of music, movement, rhymes and action. This is followed by morning tea, which is provided by St John’s, a time of play for the children and a time of fellowship for all. Our program is held on Friday mornings and the cost is $4 per family per session.

1st Sunday of the Month at 9am

Kids’ Church is worship for the whole family. On the 1st Sunday of the month, all children at the service are invited to participate in a range of opportunities to actively assist and serve in the worship. We hope to see you there.

Sundays at 9am

Every Sunday at the Family 9am Service, children of all ages have the opportunity to get involved in our engaging kid’s programme. Starting in the service with the adults, children sing and participate in a Children’s Talk linked with what the adults are learning. After the Kids’ Talk, children move to the crèche area or side chapel for Sunday School.
